On this, the debut episode of the Could Be Better Podcast, hosts Chris Perry and Colin McGuire kick the whole thing off by talking about none other than Taco Bell’s attempt at chicken wings. From there, it’s all downhill as the two discuss booking – and then canceling – a slew of concerts at a slew of venues around Frederick throughout the month of January. While the cancellations were because of the spike in COVID-19 cases, Chris and Colin discuss the show that was supposed to take place the day they taped this episode, which happened to be Saturday, Jan. 8 2022.
As a result, this episode features songs from the bands that were set to perform at New Spire Arts, including tracks from Silent Old Mtns., Chrome Rodeo, and DoubleMotorcycle. While the shows were postponed, Could Be Better’s commitment to producing shows in Frederick continues, so check back each week to see when all the shows will be rescheduled…and to hear more about Taco Bell’s latest menu offering.
