Local hip-hop artist Asa joins co-hosts Chris Perry and Colin McGuire to talk about everything from his mentors, to his idols, to
his freestyle process. The three also discuss his sold-out show at Sky Stage in 2021 and future plans for more shows as
pandemic-related restrictions hopefully subside. Because Asa had yet to be defeated in NBA Jam on a last-second full-court shot,
he was in good spirits. He also brought by three songs that you’ll hear on this episode, including one of his aforementioned
freestyles.
Don’t forget, Could Be Better will be producing its first show back since the most recent COVID-related cancellations, Saturday,
February 19th at New Spire Arts. It features friends of the show Andrew Bromhal and Flo Petite, among others. The fun begins at
630pm. For now, though, here’s Asa!
